When I was little(er), may Grandma gave me this heart-shaped locket. It was large and decorated like a cake with really thick icing depicting ribbons and bows in purple and pink. With frilly edges. And I would wear it on a purple shoelace around my neck. When you would open up the locket, it would play "You Are My Sunshine." Sometimes my Grandma and I would sing it with each other and on rare occasions she would even play the piano. Most of the time I just sang it to myself, opening and closing the locket obnoxiously so that the song would stop and start and stop and start up again. Inside of the icing-like, ribboned and bowed, purple and pink frilly locket, I kept a picture of myself.
I also recommend the original version by Jimmie Davis; it has Clarinet!
